Update

I have been really slack, concentrating on helping BeeGee with his blog, rather than my own one. WE are using our new addition now, its great. The deck is finished and most of the painting is done (i need to get myself moving).

My Dad came down earlier in the year and finished off the room for me, painting walls and window frames, the ceiling and the floor (no money left for floor covering). I did do some of it myself, but then Dad went over the top of everything I had done anyway.

So now its just the laundry to be finished (it has taken aaaaages to get the builder back in) and hopefully that will be done this weekend.

Sam and I have started painting so that a cabinet can be put it, partly for storage and partly for bichon grooming.

Anyways, pics is what we are after. I do need to get some recent ones though as all these were taken before the work was finished.

I Have Steps !!!

At last, steps have been added to my deck. It is grrrreat. Unfortunately the builder ran out of timber so one more step needs to be added. But you get the general idea. I absolutely love it.

Not much to report. Some of the gibstopping in our new room has been done,
but we still cant use it cos its not finished! Its a little frustrating now cos its been so long
and work seems to have come to a standstill.

Poodle pup is gorgeous, naughty but gorgeous. She bites everything, all the time.
She and Maddison are best mates, which is really cute, although I think maybe

BeeGee is feeling a little left out now.

Woohoo we have our new Daisy Dog. A sweet little chocolate flavoured toy poodle. She is very sweet natured and a little honey pot. BeeGee thinks she is quite lovely. Unfortunately Maddison cant stand her and is traumatised that she is not enough for me. Of course she is still my baby, I have been giving her some homeopathic remedy and she is a bit brighter today. She actually jumped onto my knee for a cuddle (having ignored me since Saterday) and when Daisy chased her for a game, Maddison ran to me to be saved from the brown monster. What a sweety. Anyway, heres the pics...

Got home on Friday and the wall was gone, hurray. Its great, the room feels so big. Only thing is, the hole in the floor is gone now so the munchkins cant get inside. So they jump down off the deck and then bark to come back in . Anyway, I love it, feels really really good. And, as if thats not enough, my Sam is home from the army for a few weeks. She's looking great and looking happy : )

Its been a wee while since my last post. Not much has been happening really. This IS Wanganui after all. However, the roof is now finished and today, hopefully, the internal wall will come down. I cant wait to get home and see. The Bichon Babies have been behaving themselves, well, as much as they are able anyway. Here's the latest pics. The pic on the left shows the deck which will eventually have steps and cover. The pic on the right shows the wall which is coming down.

Changes on the building front! We have a deck! And today the gas hot water is being done and also the roof which is fantastic!
